On Wednesday, August 27, the Town held its monthly project meeting with Elite Infrastructure to receive updates on the Lower Adams Creek Sewer Outfall project.  The Town has been providing the information it has been given by contractors and engineers working on the project.  The project is still on schedule to be completed by the end of the year.  Included is a summary of the work that has been completed since last month and work that is currently underway as well as a map showing progress.

On Wednesday, August 27, the Town held its monthly project meeting with State Utility Contractors to receive updates on the waterline project. Please be mindful that the Town has been providing the information it has been given by contractors, engineers, and NCDOT.  Included in this summary the status of each segment of the project.  The current schedule and progress map are also included.

At this time, State Utility is working on N. Main Street between Walnut Street and Park Drive, and this section of Main Street is closed to everyone except residents. Town Hall, McAllister Park, the Lion's Club, and the Cabarrus County Lunch Plus Program are all currently accessible on Park Drive from N. Washington Street only. The Public Parking Lot adjacent to the Lentz Building is still accessible from N. Main Street at this time, but may experience brief closures at this entrance over the next two weeks while crews are actively working.
