On Wednesday, September 24, the Town held its monthly project meeting with Elite Infrastructure to receive updates on the Lower Adams Creek Sewer Outfall project.
Here is a summary of the work that has been completed since last month and work that is currently underway. The Town has been providing the information it has been given by contractors and engineers working on the project:
- Blasting is nearly complete
- Approximately 2/3 of the sewer outfall has been installed, including the segments to the Summer Street and Pasture Pump Stations (to be retired upon project completion)
- Installation under Mount Pleasant Road South will take place in October.
- The project is still on schedule to be completed by the end of the year.
